Thinking like a Genius

Bloom's Taxonomy is a breakdown of the six levels of thinking, from the lowest level to the highest (with a example):

Knowledge: Knowing a fact. Knowing 2 + 2 = 4 . Doesn't mean you know what 2+2=4 means.

Application: Knowing how to use the fact. I can determine that 2 cats plus 2 cats equals 4 cats. You don't know what 2 +2 =4 means, but you can apply it.

Comprehension -- Understanding a fact: You understand the concept of addition and how 2 + 2 = 4.

Analysis -- breaking down information into its parts. 4 - 2 =2 ; (1 + 1) + (1 + 1) = 2 + 2 = 4

Synthesis -- creating something new , writing a book, etc.

Evaluation -- Discussion of the merits of 2 + 2 = 4

A great man, who I owe so much of my knowledge and has given me so much useful resolutions to my life, said this:

“There are certain bad habits we’ve groomed our whole life. And it has been the role of parents and friends, outside of some minor tweaking, to reinforce the belief that we’re okay just as we are. But it’s not enough to just be yourself. You have to be your best self. And that’s a tall order if you haven’t found your best self yet…”

Free yourself of the misery that surrounds your mind…

Don’t lie to yourself and figure out if you are really your best self…

My Time Machina

Como un ser ambicioso de sabiduría, a veces pienso en el pasado y en los errores que cometí y como podría enmendar. Quisiéramos volver en el tiempo y repetir todas aquellas cosas en la que nos equivocamos y hubiéramos manejado de forma diferente. Pero en esta realidad, dimensión, espacio y tiempo, no podemos. La única forma de cambiar nuestro pasado, es dejarlo donde pertenece y seguir caminando. Mientras menos dejemos a nuestra mente revivir viejas películas

Lo que me lleva a pensar todas aquellas cosas que he aprendido y lo que me queda por aprender.

Me pregunto si en algún punto de mi camino, estaré satisfecho, me mirare en el espejo y me diré a mi mismo que me he convertido en aquel ser tan sabio que siempre he querido ser. Quizás no, uno de los grandes defectos de nuestra raza es la inconformidad de lo que se tiene y las ansias sobre aquello que no poseemos.

La vida es constante aprendizaje, cada día trae un nuevo flujo de conocimientos que nos hacen mas sabios.

La verdad es que todos crecemos o nos permitimos crecer, en tiempos diferentes, cada quien busque dentro de si que es lo que mas conviene. Somos duelos pasajeros de la vida que se nos ha dado, para moldearla y modelarla como mejor nos parezca.
